All castings are 4140 Chromoly steel. Originals were bronze.

All Dampers are hand fitted to original motorcycles.

Substitute later 1938-1945 knob at no extra cost.

If you want to leave out the 5/16" anchor bolt and not drill the frame web, use spacers or a wedged leather strap to keep frame arm from moving as handlebars are turned.

The same knob I use on my 1938-1945 Crocker Steering Dampers except they are about 0.720" thick. OD 2.660".
